Meet your photographer
Hi, I’m Johnathan. I’m a wedding photographer based in Montreal, and in May 2027 I’ll be in Madeira, the Canary Islands and the Faroe Islands.
This will be my first season photographing elopements on these islands, so I won’t pretend to have years of island photos to show you. What I can tell you is that I research every location in depth before the day, and I take no wedding lightly. You’ll get the same care I give every couple: candid, natural photos of how your day really felt, and guidance into beautifully posed scenic portraits you’ll want to show off for years.
Because it’s my first season there, I’m only taking 5 couples, so each one gets my full attention, from planning to delivery.

Yes. When you book, we have a planning call to choose your location and timing together, around the best light and fewer crowds, so nothing feels rushed. Then, 1 month before your day, we have a final call so you know exactly what to expect.
No. I’m already travelling to Madeira, the Canary Islands and the Faroe Islands in May 2027, so there are no flights or hotel costs added to your booking.
We embrace it. These places are stunning in any weather, and rain, mist and moody skies can create some of the most unique, beautiful images. Clear umbrellas are a great option too, if that’s something you’d like.
It’s simple. We start with a relaxed call to talk through your vision and make sure we’re a great fit. If we are and you’re ready to move forward, you sign the contract and pay the retainer, and your date is officially reserved.
